Babies are in constant change, from newborn infants
until they begin to run. At Foxcahse baby photographers
Virginia, we want to help you tell your child's story in pictures.
Our photographers recommend creating portraits as young as 3 weeks,
then at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. Each of these ages has
its own special charm that you will want to preserve in the finest
available portrait photography.
Babies are great fun to work with and pose. A good portrait experience
can set the tone for good photographs of the child as they take
their toddler pictures, child portraits and eventually family
portraits and their - heaven forbid it's too early to say - senior
pictures!

Six months is a great time for your baby's first family
portrait by our professional baby photographers
Virginia. At this age, he can sit up, is not frightened by
anything, and will laugh with you when placed in a family grouping
for a portrait session.
We have some props in our studio, bring you own outfits: a special
christening gown, hats or overalls, toy or blanket... feel free
to bring it along! A good guide - if it's something you'd like
to see in the photograph for the next 50 years...bring it along!
If you are a choosing to have a mother-baby session, the photographs
are much better if you'll wear a just a little more make-up than
you usually do. With black & white photo, you may look a little
"washed-out" if you don't.
Our baby photographers Virginia also
suggest wearing dark pants and long sleeved dark top, very plain
(no plaids or big patterns) or if you like.
The session...Our work is different by design, please don't expect
that all of your images will be the "big smile" department
store type of baby portraits. We are creating a softer, personalized,
more classic and artistic style of portrait.
On the day of the session please allow about 30-40 minutes for
your session with our photographer. We ask that just ONE parent
comes to the session. Please do not bring personal assistants,
grammas, nannies, friends or siblings. Your photographs are so
much better when we can devote all of our attention to your baby.
Quite simply, we are not set up to accommodate your guests on
the day of the session. We ask that you please honor our policy.
On the day of the session you will be ask to pay the session fee
as well as our minimum purchase, you may pay by either visa/mc
or cash.
