Shoot Guidelines
 One
of the most important aspects of your digital headshots are that
it must look like you. The biggest mistake many actors make is
going to a photographer that will over-glamorize or misrepresent
them. If you do not send out a headshot that faithfully represents
you (on your best day of course), agents and casting directors
will be misled and ultimately frustrated.
 What
we want to achieve with each of our clients is to take the most
flattering photo that conveys their personality and spontaneity
in an environment that is fun and relaxing.

 When
we begin, our goal is to make you as unaware of my camera as possible.
I will tell you when we first start that I never want you to feel
posed or uncomfortable. I want our environment to feel as if you
are at your friend's apartment having a good conversation. You
want your digital headshots to convey a laid back and relaxed
look. Between listening to your favorite digital CD's and our
casual conversation, you will not even realize the camera is there.

ABOUT DIGITAL
Why digital? Shooting your headshots digitally gives you a number
of benefits over film. It gives you freedom to be able to see
your photos the moment that they are shot.. Shooting digitally
gives you the option of having your photos in color and black
and white. We are now able do all of your retouching (see retouching
gallery here) and printing right here moments after we have finished
shooting. Clients look over my shoulder as I retouch their photo
and everyone always comments, "That's amazing, can you retouch
me like that in real life?" At the end of the shoot, you
are able to leave my studio with your printed proof sheets and
CD.
